This book tells the stories of eight women with great faith who did great things. The best part? They acknowledge God as the reason for their success.
I was surprised by the fact that I hadn't heard of many of these women before reading this book. In fact, all but one was an unfamiliar name. Each woman and her story differed from the other. They all had very different lives and trials to overcome. However, they all shared the same faith. It's the kind of faith that tells us that God has a plan and we have no need to worry when he is in control.
It's very refreshing to read about women with great faith throughout history. I feel like women can often be overlooked when thinking about people in history with great faith. It's also encouraging to see that other women have achieved such levels of faith and it's possible for all of us as well.
